  • Design Technology For Kids! A Free Virtual Learning Series

    Makers,

Join us for Design Technology For Kids! In this free 3-part series participants will experiment with designing towers, bridges, and launchers using simple materials, most of which can be found in your home. Each session will begin with a warm-up activity, and will revolve around a different principal – balance, strength, and motion – through fun, hands-on design activities. While there’s a progression of challenge across the 3 workshops each session stands alone, so you can register for 1 or all 3. This series is designed for ages 8-12; for maximum fun and success participants are encouraged to join with a friend or family member to brainstorm and collaborate with! You may sign up for each session individually. This series will run Thursdays, 3 – 4:30 PM, starting November 5th.

    Makers,

Join us for Twin State Innovation, Tuesday, September 8th from 8 – 9 am. Jonathan and Abby from Winter Street Farm will be presenting this month. This is a new farm to Claremont with some incredible ideas and energy. Like past months – they’ll share their story, talk about their vision, and discuss the challenges they face and then have plenty of time for questions and conversations.

Everyone plays a role in launching new ideas, supporting existing businesses, and growing entrepreneurship in the region. During these events, a local entrepreneur will discuss their business and an open discussion will follow.  Please click here to find the connection information for this virtual meeting.
